I hooked up with Nora and Paul a few weeks before their big day at the lovely Dunmoran Strand in Sligo a special place for the couple as they got engaged here.
‘Karen and Paul’s’ big day was my second time to shoot at ‘The Anglers Rest.’ . It’s such a lovely venue, right on the doorstep of the Phoenix park and the area really comes into its own in Autumn time.
Karen the lady of the day and her maid of honor Niamh got their hair and make up done in ‘Queen’ in Dublin City centre. I got to meet up with them for some some portraits at Karen and Paul’s apartment, before heading down to the Anglers to hook up with Paul for a few pre ceremony pics.
Karen’s wedding dress was from ‘Jenny Packham’
The weather was unseasonably mild, Paul,Paddy and his dad had a good laugh at the outdoor stove in full blaze in the early afternoon. I love the Ambiance of the Anglers, even though it’s only ten minutes from the city, once you turn down the road for the strawberry beds it feels like you are 100 miles away!
Karen and Paul had a lovely relaxed ceremony which set the tone for the day, after some family shots in the venue we then headed to the park for a few more photos with the wedding party. After the meal and speeches “Smooth” the band (the Dublin one) got the night off to a great start with the first dance song.
A big thanks to Karen and Paul for choosing me to document their special day!
I got to meet up with Karen and Paul on the Sunday before their big day in the Phoenix park. We grabbed a few coffees at the very busy tea rooms and then went for a spin around the park and stopped off for a few shots and a chat to discuss their big day.
“SARAH & NIALL” got a beautiful summer’s day for their wedding. The day kicked off at Sarah’s parents home where I was joined once again by ‘NEIL DUFFY’ (Videographer) after capturing the bridal party’s preparations, I made my way down to the local church in Kill to meet up with Niall and his groomsmen. A lovely wedding ceremony was followed by the reception at the beautiful Manor House at “PALMERSTOWN”. The manor house has beautiful mature grounds which were the perfect backdrop for the wedding portraits. After dinner we were treated to some great speeches by the wedding party and the newly weds first dance was very memorable too. It was a pleasure to be the happy couple’s photographer and I wish them every happiness in their married life,
I got to hook up with Sarah and Niall a few weeks before their big day at Bushy Park. It’s always a nice opportunity to meet up with the wedding couple before the event, to capture their excitement and chat about the various things they have planned for the wedding day.
I love meeting up with couples before their wedding its great to be able to discuss the various things they have planned for their big day.
