Joanne & Owen (pre wedding shoot)

I met up with Joanne and Owen the Sunday before their wedding at Turlough House in Mayo, which is well worth a visit any time of the year but the beautiful grounds really come into their own in Autumn,
We had a wander around and grabbed a few shots between showers and a visit to
“The National Museum of Country Life”
it’s always great to meet up with the bride and groom before their big day,the complimentary shoot is great to use for the invites and of course the signing board at the reception.

Rebeka and Andrew (Pre Wedding shoot)

In late August, Rebeka got in touch about doing a pre wedding shoot in Mayo where herself and Andrew live. On Saturday they will get married in Rebeka’s home country of Brazil and she was keen to bring home some images of Ireland to show her family and friends. The afternoon kicked off with a leisurely stroll at Belleek Woods in Ballina ending up with a lovely picnic near Belleek Castle. We then headed out to Lough Conn near where Rebeka and Andrew live and I got to meet Otto their lovely golden retriever. We took a boat out on the Lough and got back in time to catch the lovely sunrise! A great end to a fab day! I would like to wish Rebeka and Andrew the very best in their life together.

Ciara & Jonathan, Ballymagarvey Village

“CIARA & JONATHAN’s” Big day kicked off at Ciara’s mum and dad’s house in Rathfarnham. I was greeted by the bride’s Dad who was keeping fort as the ladies where out getting their hair and makeup done! As we travelled on the M50 over to the church in Kinsealy the heavens opened!! Thankfully, that was the last of the rain for the day. After the lovely ceremony we all made the journey to the beautiful “BALLYMAGARVEY VILLAGE” it was my first time shooting a Wedding there and I was really impressed with the venue – so many photo opportunities…. The evening’s entertainment was supplied by the brilliant “SOUL PURPOSE” who ensured that everyone danced the night away.<

Carolann & Joe, Anglers Rest, Dublin

Carolann and Joe’s wedding ceremony and reception took place in the gorgeous surrounds of “Wrights Anglers Rest” in the Strawberry Beds, Dublin. The day commenced in Carolann’s parents house in Drumcondra, where I was greeted by her dad, meanwhile the bride to be and her mum were in “Brown Sugar” in the city centre getting their hair and make up done. I then met the groom at the venue and awaited the bride’s arrival. After the ceremony we headed to the nearby Phoenix Park to capture some portraits of the lovely couple. Then back to the venue where the night was kicked off by the brilliant band “Manila Strings”, and everyone danced the night away, the perfect ending to a perfect day!
