In May I met up with Mags and David for their pre wedding shoot. We started off at their wedding venue,‘CASTLE DARGAN’,
where we took some shots on the Avenue to take advantage of the cherry blossom in full bloom. We then headed to the lovely ‘PARKES CASTLE ‘ which holds happy memories for the couple, as this was the place that David Popped the question! I’m Looking forward to their big day in June.

On Friday I began a personal project for 2015, where every week the challenge is to take a portrait of a person, ask them three short questions and post the results on Friday
I have decided to set up a separate Facebook page for the project as opposed to mixing them up with my other work! you can find
“Friday’s Face” here

‘JOANNE & OWEN’s’ big day kicked off at the bride’s parents house (where I was joined by‘NEIL DUFFY’, the videographer), it was great to be welcomed back after being there to do her sister ‘CLAIRE’S’ wedding last year. After the ceremony everyone stopped off at Rooskey Village for the traditional good luck bonfire. I then shot some photos of the wedding party in the beautiful surroundings of Hazelwood on the shores of Lough Gill. We joined the guests at ‘THE RADISSON BLU HOTEL’ for a wonderful celebration which included the Bride and Groom performing a ‘first song’ rather than the traditional ‘first dance’ which went down a treat with everyone. The entertainment continued with the band ‘WHO KNOWS’ as well as the hilarious comedian/mime act the ‘MADCAPS’ . It was a privilege to capture the happy couple’s special day.
