I was originally due to photograph Edel and Johnny’s Big Day in 2021, however, with the Covid restrictions they decided to postpone the Wedding until 2022. It was a wise move indeed, as a result their wedding was free from any kind of restrictions or number limitations!
The day kicked off at Edel’s parents house where I was joined by Videographer Neil Duffy, Ann Young was on makeup duties ,and Gemma Crossan was looking after hair. Before the ceremony I hooked up with Johnny and the lads in Millers Bar for a few pre wedding photos, we then made our way across the road to the church to meet up with Fr.Kevin Blade and Fr.Michael Reilly. Everything about the day ran perfectly except for the weather! After the ceremony we made a a quick detour to Lough Talt with the hope of getting a break in the clouds… It wasn’t to be!! So, with the help of some umbrellas we managed to grab a few quick shots. Luckily enough we had the lovely interior of The McWilliam Hotel as a back up, with its impressive piano and decor, where we got some bridal party photographs. After the dinner and some entertaining speeches, the band ‘Late Nite Radio’ got everyone up on the dance floor, to round off a fabulous day!
